The Martin Fisher Foundation: 30 Seconds to Beat HIV

Project background

Following the success of the Good News about HIV animation, CC Animation Studio were once again delighted to work with the Martin Fisher Foundation.

Whilst the first animation was aimed at encouraging the public to take an HIV test, for this explainer film, we were asked to promote a quick and easy system of encouraging clinicians to offer routine HIV testing in settings where a patient is already having blood drawn.

The explainer animation

30 Seconds to Beat HIV is for all Primary and Secondary Care providers who routinely take bloods and want to be part of the impetus in getting to zero new infections.

For this digital animation, artist Rosie Hunter used the Martin Fisher Foundation brand colours for a cohesive feel. The animation's ‘timeline’ style flow emphasises the ease and smoothness of the testing process.

As specialists in Health and Social Care communication, we know that those working in healthcare are deeply committed to giving their patients the best care possible but are also under immense pressure for both time and resources. Crucially, this opt-out testing is simple, cheap and quick to implement, and with just 30 seconds and one simple question, HIV transmission in the UK could be ended by 2030.
